What did you like about SureSeal?
Good price. I’ve had the best year for mastitis ever (using Cepravin and SureSeal) – with an average cell count of 240,000 in the older cows.
If you could change something with regards to the product, what would it be?
Nothing. It’s a bit hard to squeeze.
Did you experience any negatives?
No I didn’t.
Would you use the product again?
Yes.
Would you recommend the product to another farmer?
Yes.
Have you used another teat sealant before using SureSeal?
Yes – Teatseal.
When comparing these products, how would you rate them on a scale of 1-5, with 1 being poor and 5 being best.

Landmark Vets
The season of 2013 was one of the busiest ever for heifer sealing. Our clinic on average does approximately 2500 heifers per season. We chose to use Sureseal as we had received good feedback about the product from Uk vets.
The team, with on average 4 seasons experience in applying teat-selants in heifers, really enjoyed using the product and found it easy to apply. The hot water bottles proved useful in warming the product, but it wasn't a necessity, as we often started before the 'hotties' were added, and did not lead to any sore fingers.
The results were as good as they have been in the past with other sealants, and all the clients and we are looking forward to use Sureseal coming dry cow and heifer season.
