SureSeal Administration Guide
1. Clean all teats thoroughly and disinfect with antiseptic wipes. Disinfect far teat before near teats to reduce risk of contamination.
2. Grasp base of teat where it meets the udder. Insert SureSeal nozzle at end of the teat and slowly inject the SureSeal sealant.
3. Apply SureSeal sealant to the nearest teats first and then the farthest teats to avoid contamination of clean teats. Do not massage SureSeal upwards.
4. Mark cow suitably to display cow has been successfully dried off. Use a teat spray or dip to finish process.
Removal of SureSeal
1. Grasp the top of the teat where it meets the udder and work down the teat to strip sealant from each teat.
2. Strip thoroughly from each teat for up to four days post freshening. SureSeal must not be removed using the suction of a milking machine.
3. Milk separate from bulk tank for 8 milkings or 4 days post-freshening and before returning to full milking production.
